I made a caustom Max/MSP Jitter glitch module to process video. The video source is the sign outside Honest Ed’s in Toronto. Click on the black pic above – it’s just the first frame of the gif – wait a sec and it will start going!
This video was made in February 2006 in order to be used as projected video during a crazy show with Saskatoon noise band, Milkhorse. Since then, it has been used as VJ source footage and a hypnotism tool!
Vinyl Interventions is an experimental turntablism group and project series that I did with Esther Bourdages and Marinko Jareb in the early 2000s. We performed concerts and recorded an album together. We did presentations on the history of turntablism and sculpture incorporating vinyl records.
